At the moment I find it difficult to find the time to catch up with my 52 weeks project so while the current week is week 16, I am only at week 14. Anyways, here is my explanation for week 13. The theme was "Night". As you can see, I did not actually take this at night - I was going to but then decided to take it rather early in the morning. However, I had not taken into account that even when I get up at 6.30, it will already be relatively light outside. Yeah. I decided to still go through with it.
I had brought a big bag of tea lights that I wanted to light along the path. However, by the time that all the dogs and dog walkers, which had also decided to use this exact path at the same time, had finally moved away, it was too late to light all of them because it was getting lighter by the minute so I decided to only light about 30 or 40 and clone them later in Photoshop. I normally prefer to do what I can while I am taking the photo instead of doing it afterwards in post-processing but sometimes there is no other way.
So after I had all the photos I wanted - the right pose, dress parts to add/exchange, the photos to create the expansion, I blew out all the candles, packed up and headed back home. After expanding the photo to have more space around me, I cloned to candles so that they were along the entire path, added part of the dress from another photo, added hair from another photo, made the photo darker, added fog and changed the tones until I was happy with it.
Hope you like it!
All the best,
